Developed in between 1084 and 1504, Worcester Cathedral signifies just about every style of English architecture from Norman to Perpendicular Gothic.

It is famous for its Norman crypt, its unique chapter house, its unconventional Transitional Gothic bays, its fine woodwork and its “beautiful” central tower.

The crypt of the existing-day cathedral dates from the 10th century and the time of St Oswald, Bishop of Worcester.

Worcester Cathedral is blessed with a person of the most pleasing locations of any English cathedral. The cathedral sits on amount ground beside the River Severn, and viewed from the river the facet is of timeless serenity.
