Created in between 1084 and 1504, Worcester Cathedral signifies each and every style of English architecture from Norman to Perpendicular Gothic.

It is famous for its Norman crypt, its unique chapter household, its strange Transitional Gothic bays, its high-quality woodwork and its “beautiful” central tower.

The crypt of the current-day cathedral dates from the 10th century and the time of St Oswald, Bishop of Worcester.

Worcester Cathedral is blessed with 1 of the most pleasing locations of any English cathedral. The cathedral sits on amount ground beside the River Severn, and observed from the river the aspect is of timeless serenity.
