Created in between 1084 and 1504, Worcester Cathedral signifies every style of English architecture from Norman to Perpendicular Gothic.

It is famous for its Norman crypt, its special chapter dwelling, its strange Transitional Gothic bays, its fantastic woodwork and its “exquisite” central tower.

The crypt of the present-day cathedral dates from the 10th century and the time of St Oswald, Bishop of Worcester.

Worcester Cathedral is blessed with 1 of the most satisfying places of any English cathedral. The cathedral sits on amount ground beside the River Severn, and noticed from the river the part is of timeless serenity.
