Foundation stone 11 Dec 1895 by A McDonald, opened Good Friday 1896 on outdated website, crafted using elements from 2nd church, strategies by Mr Dancker. Later Methodist then Uniting. Bell from earlier church was hung in gum tree across street 1895.
Initially church created 1844 (day stone now on corridor), enlarged 1848, demolished 1906 when corridor constructed, seats taken to Delabole Wesleyan, returned to Willunga when Delabole closed.
2nd church opened 1857, partitions experienced been weakened in the course of making when storm blew off roof woodwork, later on declared unsafe with partitions 22 ins out of plumb, demolished 1895.
