Vogler Brothers Boatbuilders manufactured this 12-foot clinker-crafted boat at their shop in Victoria, circa 1929-1930. For quite a few a long time it was made use of as a livery boat at the Yellow Stage Lodge on Vancouver Island.

Pursuing its stint at Yellow Stage, the skiff came into the possession of the Gordon family, and she entered a new occupation as a leisure rowing craft. When the Gordon family members made a decision that she was “worn out”, the boat was thoroughly stored in the rafters of the relatives garage. When garage demolition loomed in 2002, Alistair Gordon donated the skiff to the Oarlock & Sail Picket Boat Club.

Many thanks to its dry storage in the Gordon’s garage, the boat was a very good applicant for maintenance, and given that its acquisition by the Club, it has been an on-heading restoration project for Oarlock & Sail associates.
