Dwelling, 1586, (with C18 kitchen area extension). Big, squared sandstone in slightlyuneven programs extension in coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone. Pantiled roofs with stone ridge, copings and kneelers French tiles on hood brick and stone stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays, the proper bay projecting a little. Left of this a plank door below pent hood on brackets. Correct 6-gentle chamfered mullioned-and-transomed window under hoodmould 4-light-weight similar window at still left. Single mild higher than doorway, 2-light mullioned home windows at 1st floor suitable and 3-light mullioned and transomed window at remaining. Pretty significant-pitched roof with close chimneys (brick at left). Still left (1-storey) kitchen area has boarded doorway and casement below keyed lintel Mullioned home windows at initially flooring rear. Inside not available for inspection but superior-high-quality woodwork, including richly moulded beams and joists, has been recorded, also C18 wall paintings.
