This tiny stand is manufactured up of a lattice of modest strips of wood whittled into points, a design of tramp art known as “Crown of Thorns.” Tramp art is the identify provided to a form of woodworking preferred in the United States amongst about 1865 and 1940, characterised by very simple procedures these as chip-carving and whittling and the use of compact bits of wooden assembled into or utilized to much larger varieties.
