Tim Carney –my partner– designed the oak body for this awesome window. Barry Hood made the stained glass and the two of them installed the window in a few hrs. The window is 8 ft tall. The window is based on the initial architects’ drawings with some advancements created to the design. For a long time, the Grandstreet Theatre (our community theater in an aged church) experienced a actually unattractive window in this article with frosted glass (like shower glass). This is SO considerably better! Wow!

The stained glass is amazing in it can be very own correct and I’m happy Tim believed of inquiring Barry to be the glass artist on this undertaking. From an outside the house observer’s place of view, the oak window body seemed like even extra of a undertaking — I observed the mathematical and design system closeup as Tim was figuring out how the heck to create this difficult wood framework to make it symmetrical, proportional and sturdy You just do not see craftsmanship like this on many up to date buildings. There are pretty much hundreds of modest curved wood parts in 3 levels, building up the 7 little circles, the substantial heart circle and the two arch shapes in the corners. Figuring out how to make the wood frame was a mathematical puzzler.
