The Virgin Mary Church in Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire

St Mary the Virgin, Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire

Ian is on the road again, traveling to the north-west in the UK for an audit. Although he was not keen to go as he would be the one being audited, he was ready for the trip. Before heading to the hotel, Ian visited a former colleague who lives in Warrington, near St. Helens. He left early and stopped along the way to visit a church, and from there, he traveled up to Dartford to cross the Great North Road to Fotheringhay, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and executed. Ian visited St. Mary and All Saints church, the parish church of the House of York, the final being Richard III. The church was in its Perpendicular finest, and Ian took several photographs. After leaving the church, he traveled to the village of Titchmarsh, where he visited another church that did not have anything interesting inside. As he left, snow started to fall, and he continued his journey to Warrington to meet a friend. Ian’s friend lived on the other side of Warrington, and after talking with them, Ian received a call from a person he was planning to meet. The person informed Ian that it was snowing heavily, prompting Ian to leave and head to his hotel. The final mile was tough to navigate with the snow and slippery road. Eventually, Ian arrived safely at the resort, ready for dinner.
