“The Virgin Mary Church in Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire”

St Mary the Virgin, Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire

The author of the content is Ian, who is travelling to the north-western part of the UK for an audit in the Head Office in Warrington. He wakes up early and packs for the trip, which promises to be bright but cold, with snow predicted once he reaches Manchester. Jools, his partner drops him off on the promenade so that he can have a walk to take some photos before picking up the car. He hires a Toyota Yaris that struggles to reach Jubilee Way without the engine screaming. He decides to visit a former colleague who lives in Warrington, which means programming her address in his phone. Along the way, he decides to visit St Mary and All Saints church, which was once the parish church for the House of York, including Richard III.

Ian takes a break in Titchmarsh before continuing on to Warrington. It starts to snow, and things get more challenging till he reaches his destination. He meets up with Teresa, a friend who lives on the other side of Warrington before making his way to the hotel. The hotel is located in a golf resort, and the last mile to reach there is challenging with slippery roads and the fuel-warning light coming on. Despite the challenges, he makes it safe and sound and has a good dinner.
