The follow of decorating interiors with painted murals reached its height of attractiveness in North America during the initial half of the nineteenth century. Numerous Canadian illustrations were concentrated in nova Scotia, and this compact parlour was the entrance room of the Croscup relatives dwelling in Karsdale.
