Tam Makers is an organization that offers adults and teens access to a makerspace located at Tamalpais High School, where they can create their own art, tech, or woodworking projects. Tam Makers hosts a ‘Maker Club’ every week where members can showcase their latest projects, and bring their materials to build new ones, with the guidance of the organization’s staff and other community members.
The members of Tam Makers are experienced makers, who are eager to share their knowledge and skills with fellow makers. They have created several unique projects, including a robot spider, an eagle god with creepy eyes, an Arduino-powered garage opener, a Wifi server on a chip, and more.
