Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a free of charge event that showcases younger makers in Marin County. We offered some of the interesting tasks our customers developed in our makerspace: tasteful containers, picket bowls, robotic arms, interactive artwork and devices.
This year’s featured exhibit was a Time Machine established by our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders ended up on hand all working day to display this progressive after-university project, which combines artwork, technologies and storytelling — applying Arduino, motors, lights and sounds.
We also invited people to make their individual Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser minimize styles, and shade markers. They established some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the show. Absolutely everyone seemed to take pleasure in their practical experience with Tam Makers: young children, mothers and fathers, makers and woodworkers all had a great time creating art together and learning from each individual other.
It was a good way to celebrate art and science and inspire small children to establish a superior earth.
Marinovators took position on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the College of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Area #245 in the new Educational Heart.
