Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a totally free celebration that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We offered some of the great projects our users established in our makerspace: exquisite containers, wood bowls, robot arms, interactive art and devices.
This year’s highlighted exhibit was a Time Equipment created by our Maker Art course at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders were being on hand all working day to display this impressive after-university venture, which combines artwork, know-how and storytelling — utilizing Arduino, motors, lights and appears.
We also invited site visitors to make their have Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser minimize shapes, and shade markers. They made some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the clearly show. Every person seemed to love their expertise with Tam Makers: youngsters, mother and father, makers and woodworkers all experienced a wonderful time building artwork collectively and mastering from each and every other.
It was a excellent way to rejoice art and science and motivate young children to create a improved world.
Marinovators took location on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the College of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Place #245 in the new Educational Center.
