Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a free of charge event that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We presented some of the interesting tasks our customers produced in our makerspace: elegant boxes, wood bowls, robotic arms, interactive artwork and gadgets.
This year’s showcased show was a Time Device produced by our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders ended up on hand all day to reveal this revolutionary following-college task, which combines art, technologies and storytelling — making use of Arduino, motors, lights and sounds.
We also invited people to make their have Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser minimize shapes, and shade markers. They created some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the exhibit. Absolutely everyone appeared to delight in their practical experience with Tam Makers: young children, parents, makers and woodworkers all experienced a excellent time producing art with each other and mastering from every other.
It was a fantastic way to rejoice artwork and science and persuade kids to develop a superior environment.
Marinovators took area on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the School of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Area #245 in the new Academic Centre.
