Tam Makers hosted an exhibit at Marinovators 2017 — a no cost event that showcases young makers in Marin County. We presented some of the cool initiatives our customers made in our makerspace: elegant containers, wood bowls, robotic arms, interactive artwork and gadgets.
This year’s highlighted exhibit was a Time Equipment created by our Maker Artwork class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders had been on hand all day to display this modern right after-school task, which combines art, technological know-how and storytelling — applying Arduino, motors, lights and seems.
We also invited people to make their individual Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser slash styles, and shade markers. They established some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the exhibit. Every person seemed to delight in their expertise with Tam Makers: young children, moms and dads, makers and woodworkers all experienced a fantastic time making artwork collectively and studying from every other.
It was a good way to rejoice artwork and science and persuade young children to establish a greater entire world.
Marinovators took area on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the Higher education of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Space #245 in the new Educational Centre.
