Tam Makers hosted an exhibit at Marinovators 2017 — a free event that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We offered some of the awesome jobs our customers produced in our makerspace: exquisite bins, picket bowls, robot arms, interactive artwork and gadgets.
This year’s featured exhibit was a Time Equipment produced by our Maker Artwork course at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders ended up on hand all day to show this progressive following-faculty venture, which brings together art, technology and storytelling — employing Arduino, motors, lights and sounds.
We also invited people to make their very own Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser cut styles, and colour markers. They created some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the clearly show. Everyone appeared to delight in their practical experience with Tam Makers: children, moms and dads, makers and woodworkers all experienced a superb time producing art collectively and understanding from just about every other.
It was a fantastic way to celebrate art and science and inspire children to establish a much better entire world.
Marinovators took position on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the College or university of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Room #245 in the new Tutorial Centre.
