Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a totally free party that showcases young makers in Marin County. We offered some of the interesting jobs our users established in our makerspace: tasteful boxes, picket bowls, robotic arms, interactive artwork and devices.
This year’s highlighted show was a Time Equipment made by our Maker Artwork class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders were on hand all working day to exhibit this revolutionary just after-university undertaking, which combines art, know-how and storytelling — using Arduino, motors, lights and appears.
We also invited website visitors to make their very own Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser lower shapes, and color markers. They established some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the display. Absolutely everyone seemed to delight in their expertise with Tam Makers: small children, parents, makers and woodworkers all experienced a amazing time earning art together and studying from each and every other.
It was a terrific way to celebrate art and science and persuade young children to establish a better globe.
Marinovators took position on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the Faculty of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Space #245 in the new Educational Heart.
