Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a totally free function that showcases younger makers in Marin County. We offered some of the great projects our associates designed in our makerspace: stylish boxes, wood bowls, robotic arms, interactive art and gadgets.
This year’s featured show was a Time Device made by our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders were on hand all working day to show this ground breaking immediately after-university challenge, which combines artwork, know-how and storytelling — utilizing Arduino, motors, lights and seems.
We also invited website visitors to make their personal Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser reduce shapes, and shade markers. They created some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the clearly show. All people seemed to love their working experience with Tam Makers: little ones, mom and dad, makers and woodworkers all experienced a great time creating art together and understanding from each individual other.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate artwork and science and really encourage young children to develop a far better entire world.
Marinovators took area on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the University of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Space #245 in the new Tutorial Middle.
