Tam Makers hosted an exhibit at Marinovators 2017 — a absolutely free party that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We introduced some of the interesting projects our users established in our makerspace: stylish boxes, wooden bowls, robot arms, interactive artwork and gizmos.
This year’s highlighted exhibit was a Time Machine produced by our Maker Artwork course at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders were being on hand all day to exhibit this ground breaking following-university job, which combines art, engineering and storytelling — applying Arduino, motors, lights and appears.
We also invited people to make their personal Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser slice shapes, and shade markers. They created some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the clearly show. All people appeared to get pleasure from their practical experience with Tam Makers: kids, dad and mom, makers and woodworkers all experienced a amazing time earning art together and understanding from each individual other.
It was a fantastic way to celebrate art and science and encourage children to build a much better globe.
Marinovators took put on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the College or university of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Place #245 in the new Academic Center.
