Tam Makers hosted an exhibit at Marinovators 2017 — a free function that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We presented some of the neat assignments our members produced in our makerspace: stylish bins, wooden bowls, robotic arms, interactive artwork and gadgets.
This year’s showcased show was a Time Equipment made by our Maker Artwork course at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders were being on hand all working day to display this progressive just after-university project, which combines art, technological innovation and storytelling — using Arduino, motors, lights and appears.
We also invited website visitors to make their own Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser cut shapes, and coloration markers. They developed some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the exhibit. Absolutely everyone seemed to get pleasure from their working experience with Tam Makers: young children, mothers and fathers, makers and woodworkers all had a wonderful time producing artwork collectively and learning from each individual other.
It was a great way to rejoice art and science and really encourage small children to establish a greater world.
Marinovators took location on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the Higher education of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Place #245 in the new Tutorial Center.
