Tam Makers hosted an exhibit at Marinovators 2017 — a absolutely free event that showcases young makers in Marin County. We presented some of the awesome projects our users established in our makerspace: classy bins, picket bowls, robot arms, interactive art and devices.
This year’s featured exhibit was a Time Machine produced by our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders were being on hand all day to demonstrate this modern right after-university job, which brings together artwork, technological innovation and storytelling — utilizing Arduino, motors, lights and sounds.
We also invited people to make their possess Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser minimize designs, and color markers. They developed some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the display. All people appeared to enjoy their practical experience with Tam Makers: kids, mom and dad, makers and woodworkers all experienced a superb time making artwork jointly and discovering from each other.
It was a wonderful way to rejoice art and science and inspire children to construct a greater entire world.
Marinovators took spot on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the School of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Home #245 in the new Tutorial Heart.
