Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a absolutely free party that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We presented some of the amazing assignments our customers produced in our makerspace: tasteful boxes, wood bowls, robotic arms, interactive artwork and gadgets.
This year’s highlighted exhibit was a Time Device made by our Maker Artwork class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders ended up on hand all working day to demonstrate this revolutionary immediately after-college challenge, which brings together artwork, know-how and storytelling — using Arduino, motors, lights and appears.
We also invited readers to make their possess Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser cut styles, and color markers. They made some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the present. All people appeared to take pleasure in their working experience with Tam Makers: kids, mom and dad, makers and woodworkers all had a wonderful time generating artwork jointly and learning from every single other.
It was a terrific way to celebrate artwork and science and inspire kids to construct a far better earth.
