Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a totally free function that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We introduced some of the awesome initiatives our associates designed in our makerspace: exquisite boxes, wooden bowls, robotic arms, interactive art and gadgets.
This year’s highlighted exhibit was a Time Equipment established by our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders were on hand all day to demonstrate this impressive following-school venture, which combines artwork, engineering and storytelling — utilizing Arduino, motors, lights and seems.
We also invited readers to make their personal Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser cut designs, and coloration markers. They made some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the display. Absolutely everyone seemed to appreciate their experience with Tam Makers: children, moms and dads, makers and woodworkers all experienced a excellent time generating art alongside one another and finding out from every other.
It was a fantastic way to rejoice art and science and stimulate kids to make a much better world.
Marinovators took put on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the College of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Area #245 in the new Academic Centre.
