    Blimey, old skool. They’re coming out of the woodwork!

    This is 1 of the initially promo shoots I did, again in Autumn 2007, I assume..? Had this terrific concept to use inexperienced bits of cardboard to swap all their heads round. Wasn’t fairly as straightforward as I thought it’d be!

    Amazing notion even if the final end result isn’t really all that amazing.

    Bit of a shocker…but wonderful shock! This was explored on Oct 14th

    The John Gwyn Jeffreys Shell Collection Cabinet
    From: St Fagans Countrywide History Museum

    This wonderful cupboard was constructed especially to retailer the comprehensive shell selection of John Gwyn Jeffreys (1809-1885) – a person of Wales’ most eminent scientists and marine conchologists. Due to the intent of the piece, it is less ornate than a cupboard produced purely for the show of shells, but it is none the a lot less magnificent. The whole cabinet is expertly hand-created from Cuban and Honduras mahogany. Double doors at the front open up to screen two columns of glass topped mahogany assortment drawers. Positioned on the cabinet leading is an ornate coral and shell wood carving forming a spectacular silhouette.

    The Quality II Mentioned Publish Place of work on Caldey Island, a modest island off the coastline from Tenby in Pembrokeshire, South Wales.

    A village shop and club designed in 1911 by John Coates Carter for the Anglican Benedictine community. Just one of Carter’s most abnormal types, the roof in two pitches, the lessen-pitched reduce slopes performing as deep canopies all around the making. The motif is taken likely from the American architect H H Richardson, whose Aged Colony railway station of 1881-4 is equivalent. Considering that building just one of the two chimneys has been taken off. Roof restored 2001, the verges of the overhang a little slice back again. Peter Anson depicts the woodwork as currently being painted eco-friendly initially.
