    Former Highway Toll Property at Sidmouth Highway Gate, now Umbrella Cottage, Sidmouth Road, LYME REGIS (WEST DORSET District). The principal composition is thought to have been created for the Lyme Regis Turnpike Rely on (Charmouth to Whimple Division) in the 19th century in the type of a lodge with daring ornamentation. External options two-storeys on rectangular floor plan, having a gabled roof, with partitions primarily of brick, roofed in simple tile, square headed home windows with tracery, no porch with a sq. headed doorway Tudor design lodge with ornamentation all over windows. Revival Elizabethan in brick with black and white panel and ornate woodwork. In spite of notes in the neighborhood newspaper, this appears to be like a lodge to massive dwelling rather than a tollhouse, though it may well have been moved from its initial locale. Not Stated.
