Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a absolutely free party that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We offered some of the awesome projects our users designed in our makerspace: exquisite bins, wood bowls, robotic arms, interactive artwork and gizmos.
This year’s showcased show was a Time Equipment produced by our Maker Art course at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders had been on hand all day to show this impressive immediately after-university project, which combines artwork, technological innovation and storytelling — using Arduino, motors, lights and sounds.
We also invited site visitors to make their own Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser cut designs, and colour markers. They designed some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the present. Every person seemed to appreciate their practical experience with Tam Makers: kids, dad and mom, makers and woodworkers all had a great time creating art alongside one another and learning from every other.
It was a fantastic way to rejoice art and science and encourage little ones to create a improved world.
Marinovators took location on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the Faculty of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Place #245 in the new Educational Center.
