    Çifte Kasırlar (Şehzadeler Dairesi, IV. Mehmed Kasrı)

    III. Murad Has Odası’nın girişinin Mabeyn Taşlığı tarafında çıkma yapacak şekilde inşa edilen bu kasırlar iç içe iki odadan oluşur. Dıştan çini kaplı ve sürekliliği olan bir saçakla çevrelenmiş olması eş zamanlı bir inşaat izlenimi verir. Ancak, bu kasırların iç dekorasyonu farklı dönemlerde inşa edilmiş olduğunu gösterir. Yetişkin şehzadelerin Harem’in kadınlar kısmından ayrı ve mabeyn tarafında yaşamaları gerekiyordu. 17. yy. başından itibaren sancaklara gönderilmeyen şehzadeler maiyetlerindeki Kara Ağalar, kalfa kadınlar ve cariyelerle Harem içinde yaşamaya mecbur ediliyordu.

    Cinlerin Meşveret Yeri adı verilen revak üzerinde ve Mabeyn Taşlığı’na çıkma yapacak şekilde inşa edilen ilk oda, muhtemelen 16.yy. sonu veya 17.yy. başlarında III. Mehmed (1596-1603) tarafından bir Has Oda olarak yaptırılmış olmalıdır.

    Kubbeli kasrın sol tarafında yer alan kapıdan geçilerek girilen diğer oda büyük olasılıkla IV. Mehmed (1648-1687) tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Her iki odaya da zaman içinde ara katlar renkli ahşap şirvanlar yapılarak ilginç bir iç mimari kompozisyon oluşturulmuştur. Yapılan restorasyon çalışmaları sırasında Şehzâdegân Dairesi de denilen bu odaların özgün şeklini ortaya çıkartmak için ahşap kısımlar kaldırılmıştır.

    The Twin Kiosk / Residences of the Crown Prince (Cifte Kasirlar / Veliahd Dairesi) is composed of two privy chambers designed in the 17th century, at different moments. The building is connected to the palace and consists of only one particular storey built on an elevated system to give a superior see from inside of and shield views from the outside the house.
