Tam Makers hosted an exhibit at Marinovators 2017 — a free function that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We offered some of the cool projects our users made in our makerspace: sophisticated containers, picket bowls, robotic arms, interactive art and gizmos.

This year’s highlighted exhibit was a Time Equipment designed by our Maker Artwork course at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders had been on hand all working day to show this modern after-university job, which brings together artwork, technological innovation and storytelling — applying Arduino, motors, lights and appears.

We also invited guests to make their possess Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser lower shapes, and colour markers. They designed some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the demonstrate. Anyone appeared to take pleasure in their encounter with Tam Makers: young children, mom and dad, makers and woodworkers all experienced a fantastic time earning art jointly and finding out from every single other.
