Tam Makers hosted an show at Marinovators 2017 — a no cost party that showcases youthful makers in Marin County. We introduced some of the neat jobs our members designed in our makerspace: tasteful boxes, wooden bowls, robot arms, interactive art and devices.
This year’s highlighted exhibit was a Time Equipment established by our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français in Sausalito. Our 4th and 5th graders have been on hand all working day to show this ground breaking immediately after-college job, which brings together artwork, know-how and storytelling — making use of Arduino, motors, lights and appears.
We also invited guests to make their have Tam Makers badges with LEDs, laser minimize designs, and colour markers. They produced some ingenious badges, and wore them proudly at the demonstrate. Anyone seemed to delight in their expertise with Tam Makers: little ones, mother and father, makers and woodworkers all had a fantastic time generating artwork with each other and understanding from each and every other.
It was a terrific way to rejoice artwork and science and really encourage children to create a improved earth.
Marinovators took place on Saturday, April 22, from 10am to 3pm, at the Faculty of Marin in Kentfield. Our Tam Makers booth was in Room #245 in the new Tutorial Heart.
