Ian is traveling to Warrington for an audit and is not pleased to be one of those being audited rather than the auditor. He wakes up early, packs, and leaves the house. Jools drops him off so he can take a walk and take some photos before picking up the car. He rents a Toyota Yaris but is not happy as he was hoping to use his old trick of getting an automatic to receive a larger car. Ian adds his phone charger to the car, and his music starts playing immediately. He listens to the music while driving and decides to make a detour to Fotheringhay Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and executed. He visits the St. Mary and All Saints church, which was the parish church of the House of York. He takes some photos before returning to the car and driving north. He sees an interesting church in Titchmarsh, but not much is worth photographing. The snow begins to fall during his journey, and he arrives late in Warrington to meet a friend, Teresa. After spending an hour with her, he is contacted by someone he was supposed to meet, and they advise him to hurry as heavy snow is falling. Ian programs the route to the hotel, which is a golf resort, and begins to drive towards it, avoiding a crash on the M6 highway. The final six miles are covered in snow and can be quite scary, but he arrives at the resort and parks in the first space he finds.

He wakes up early and goes for a walk before packing and leaving for his trip. He encounters a Toyota Yaris that he is given to drive and struggles with it on Jubilee Way due to its poor performance. On his way to the hotel, he decides to visit a church in Fotheringhay Castle, which was the church of the House of York and the final resting place of Richard III. He arrives at St Mary and All Saints and takes several pictures due to its remarkable architecture. Ian decides to visit other interesting churches in the area but ends up skipping two, ultimately stopping at the Titchmarsh church to take pictures of the wall paintings inside.

Ian makes his way to Warrington, where he will be staying with his friend, Teresa, who lives near St Helens. After experiencing heavy snowfall on his journey, he finally arrives at her house where she welcomes him in, and they catch up. During their conversation, Ian receives a call from a friend warning him about heavy snowfall and advises him to get to his destination as soon as possible. He hurries off, but the final six miles of his journey is treacherous due to the slippery snow and the reception scope at the resort which isn’t clear. Eventually, he arrives at a golf resort where he’ll be staying for the next several days due to business.

He then drove up to Dartford and into Essex, headed towards the A14, crossing the Great North Road to Fotheringhay. He went inside St Mary and All Saints, a 15th-century parish church of the House of York and final resting place of Richard III. Afterward, he planned to visit any interesting churches he saw before getting back on the A14. On the way to Warrington, he visited another church in Titchmarsh and took some pictures. Along the way, it started to snow, and he encountered a crash that caused an hour delay. He then arrived at Teresa’s home in Warrington and chatted for an hour before heading to the resort where he was staying. The final six miles were very scary due to slippery snow, but he made it safely.
