    This home, positioned on the corner of North Main Avenue and Clinton Avenue, is a wonderful illustration of the Queen Anne model of architecture. It was built in 1881 for the William Kellogg family members, and was developed by Archimedes Russell, a very well-recognised architect from Syracuse. His fondness for the sunflower symbol, regular of the 1880′s, is prominently featured on the gables of the house, the facet entry doorway, the most important staircase, and even the weathervane. Lots of first features however exist, which includes wonderful stained glass home windows, parquet floors, wonderful woodwork, 5 working fireplaces, and two indoor “inhouses” (as opposed to “outhouses”)On the corner of Main and Clinton is most likely what is Homer’s most well known Victorian, developed by Archimedes Russell, a perfectly-known architect from Syracuse.

    I had scanned some images and place them in my files some time ago. This is my late spouse, Russell.
