    The Contemporary boatbuilding class is making a basket mildew on which to lay up the Joel White-intended Bangor Packet, a rough drinking water rowing wherry. Basket molds are utilised when only a number of layups are demanded.

    We designed the boat of three levels of slender veneers above a basket mildew. The boat, with its sliding seat, weighs about 100 lbs.
