    Speyer was a student of Mies and the Intercontinental Style. In 1949, the Sammet family commissioned 36 yr outdated Speyer, who was educating at IIT, to style and design this residence. The one-tale household has a metal body with brick infill. The one particular-auto garage is at the entrance with a hidden entrance to the south. The windows are to the back and the sides. The inside has cork floors, teak woodwork and an open ground plan. The initial homeowners nonetheless live in the house soon after 58 many years and have not moved or transformed the primary style and design.
