Shot for PhotoChallenge.org 2009 Problem, Day 24: Shallow Depth of Field.
Shallow DOF is not a strength of my Canon S2IS besides when in macro mode, as it only goes to f/2.7 huge open. This is a sneak peak into my other occasional hobby, woodworking. My recent venture is a new mattress for my youngest. As the “workshop” spot of the basement is normally a cluttered mess, I would unquestionably have created the DOF even shallower if my digital camera could do it!
I did have some exciting enjoying with putting the concentrate stage on the measuring tape, thus throwing both of those the foreground and the background out of concentration, but in general I felt this was the more powerful model of the impression.
