The box for David Emery Glahn is almost finished. The creator has used amber shellac to give it a glossy appearance. The box was then stained using a red mahogany color, which would complement the amber shellac. To further highlight the box’s edges, the corners were painted black. Although almost done, there is still some touch-up work that needs to be done before applying a coat of poly to give it a protective finish.
Recall all those packing containers I was functioning on? They are performed! 🙂

this is basically an outdated stand-by, my to start with box project.
I called it “The Coffman Box” due to the fact my close friend Rob Coffman gave me the piece of wooden that would finally develop into the main piece. The box now resides with him.

Making a souvenir box from Wood journal problem #192 (september 2009). Wood is Tigre Caspi. I departed from the ideas somewhat and slice the sides & entrance these types of that the grain flows all around the box.
