As a dinghy, which is what the Nutshell Pram was designed for, their position is to securely carry as substantially as feasible from beach front to boat and back yet again whilst getting as easy as probable to have aboard. They need to have to be as burdensome as attainable (by “burdensome” we signify “have as much as attainable”) nonetheless be mild adequate to take care of very easily. They want to be straightforward to row, nonetheless really should be in a position to carry a little fuel or electric powered motor for for a longer period visits, and, if at all feasible, it is often awesome to be ready to sail them.

The Nutshell Pram can do all of these issues, and it does all of them exceptionally well.

Prams have transoms on every conclude – the bow is typically a bit lesser than the stern transom. They are workhorses, created to carry a good deal of weight back and forth to a boat from the pier. They are made to be straightforward to tow behind a sailboat, or to lift up and retail outlet on deck for longer passages. The Nutshell Pram succeeds admirably on all of these accounts.
