I you should not suppose I’m the initial man or woman to photograph these bathrooms but even so I felt rather self-acutely aware taking photographs. I had to hold all-around a little bit to get the location to myself but this did not show that easy offered how ‘instagrammable’ the spot is…….

From Wikipedia : “9 Conduit is a Grade II shown townhouse in Mayfair, intended by Scottish Architect James Wyatt in 1779 as the personal home of James Viner. Following that the developing hosted a weird wide range of societies and institutions that, in accordance to some accounts, involved cyclists, balloonists and psychologists, as properly as the Suffragette movement in the early 20th century, RIBA and Christian Dior.
In 1887–1909 Conduit Avenue was converted into the headquarters of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and even now retains its plaque and crest in the entrance hall. Throughout this time RIBA/AA hosted a levels of competition to re-layout the 18th century façade design and while this was in no way realized, the RIBA archive at the V&A retains some of the opposition proposal drawings.
The townhouse ongoing its exciting style legacy and history in the mid-20th century to become Christian Dior’s London atelier, within just which Dior housed his collections.
