I am functioning with builder Geo Monley on new maker programs — and he is also coaching me on my woodworking initiatives in his state-of-the-art woodshop at Tam High University in Mill Valley.

Geo opened the woodshop for us during spring split, and served me make a ‘mortise and tenon’ joint for the cellular cart I am setting up in his ‘You Can Build It’ workshop. We will use this cart to showcase the Metropolis of the Potential that our middle university college students are creating with each other in our ‘maker art’ classes.

Alongside one another, we are establishing a new program termed Tam Makers, to provide a general public makerspace and maker programs — and develop a community of makers, pupils and academics in South Marin.

Tam Substantial student Sammy Whitely exhibits off ‘Maker Field’, the animatronic town he aided layout and make with his class. This higher school course is taught by builder Geo Monley, who is also coaching me on my woodworking assignments. All this will take area in his state-of-the-art woodshop at Tam Large School in Mill Valley.

Collectively, we are producing a new software called Tam Makers, to offer a public makerspace and maker courses — and improve a local community of makers, learners and instructors in South Marin.
