The large challenge of a photowalk—besides looking at other folks take improved pictures than you—is finding your equipment down to something you can dwell with. This means no tripod, no panoramic mount, and a few lenses. When you see a panoramic you’d like, even the 14mm just can’t include it all sufficient to get both equally foreground fascination and the cloud designs in the sky that captivated you to the scene.

This vertical panoramic was shot to make a symmetric look at. The roundness and symmetry of this small island was crying to be brought out. I employed a whole lot of overlap in buy to offer with exposure variants and allow the sew details to be selected. Given that PTMac kept crashing, the real remaining merge of enblended photos was completed by hand. I cropped out my foot (and component of the sky in compensation). I’ll have to appear again when the lights is much less flat.

You could be curious what Topaz Simplify is performing there. Just a trick I’m seeking out of making an attempt to smooth some of the roughness in the water made by stitching with no disrupting the coloration composition in the water. I attempted Topaz Clean up, but it’s algorithms make me barf.

    See Large on Black.

Simply click here for a one body in the sew (If you simply cannot check out this, include me to your contacts and I’ll include you to my friends. If you are currently a get in touch with of mine then just jet me a message and I will correct your status.)

  • Nominal Merge Wallet from Hlaska

    Hlaska Nominal Merge Wallet

The Hlaska Nominal Merge Wallet is a minimalistic and stylish accessory that has been designed by the San Francisco-based company, Hlaska. The wallet is aimed at people who prefer to carry the bare essentials and want to minimize the bulk of their everyday carry items.

The photography that accompanies this blog post features the Hlaska Nominal Merge Wallet, and was shot with a Nikon D3 camera and Nikkor lenses. The photographer used a light tent and various lighting equipment to obtain the final shots.

The photographer mentions that the shoot was an excuse to try out a new light tent. They found it slightly difficult to use without plexiglass, but still managed to obtain great shots. The SB-800 and light panel were used to light from below, while an 85mm f/1.4D and Canon 500D diopter were used to capture details.

While the photographs are not included in the blog post, they are likely part of a larger set of images.

  • A sturdy lathe in the machine shop, all set for manufacturing with a rough texture.

Old gritty lathe in machine shop ready for manufacturing

There is a lathe in a dirty and gritty machine shop, which is constantly rotating on its axis. The lathe is a very important machine in the workshop as it is primarily used for cutting and shaping materials such as wood and metal. It works by spinning the material while a tool is pressed against it, which then removes small bits of material to create the desired shape.

The lathe is essentially a very simple machine, consisting of a bed, headstock, tailstock, and a cutting tool. The bed is the base of the machine and provides a flat and level surface for the other components to rest on. The headstock is located at one end of the bed and holds the spindle, which connects to the material being worked on. The tailstock is located at the other end of the bed and provides support for the material being worked on. The cutting tool is held in place by a tool post, which moves along the length of the bed to make cuts at different points along the material.

The lathe is a versatile machine that can be used to make a wide variety of items, from simple cylindrical shapes to complex forms with intricate details. It is commonly used in industries such as woodworking, metalworking, and manufacturing to create everything from simple bolts and screws to complex engine parts and even musical instruments.

Despite its simplicity, the lathe requires a certain level of skill and expertise to operate effectively. The operator must know how to choose the right tool for the job, set the correct cutting speed, and maintain the machine in good working order. They must also be able to read technical drawings and work with precision and accuracy to create high-quality products.

In addition to its technical requirements, the lathe also requires a certain level of physical strength and stamina. The machine is heavy and cumbersome, and the operator must often lift and maneuver large pieces of material in order to get them into position on the machine. They must also have good hand-eye coordination and be comfortable working with their hands for extended periods of time.

Despite its challenges, the lathe remains a powerful and important machine in modern manufacturing. It is a key tool for creating everything from everyday objects to complex machinery, and its versatility and precision make it an essential part of any workshop or factory. Whether it is cutting and shaping wood, metal, or other materials, the lathe continues to play a vital role in bringing our ideas and designs to life.
