This is the box that the Disabled Guy built for my pals who engage in several historic sea captains at the renaissance faire.

Now, component of the discussion with me on what it had to glimpse like (and I showed him photographs of the prior box- which seemed like a little coffin), he questioned: “What if I produced it appear like a treasure upper body?”

Well, below we are. This treasure upper body is incredibly mild (I can lift it very easily and currently, I am in flareup manner), and as sound as a brick. The handles are garage doorway elevate handles (we mentioned power/consolation with another person who builds garage doors), the hinges are not as decorative as he desired (those were as well significant to in shape on the box). The latch was pure luck (we noticed it as we ended up going for walks away from the hinge section at Household Depot). All the hardware is from The House Depot and not a craft retailer, so it is good and as nicely as attractive.

This is the box that the Disabled Man constructed for my close friends who play various historic sea captains at the renaissance faire.

Now, section of the discussion with me on what it experienced to search like (and I showed him photos of the former box- which seemed like a minimal coffin), he asked: “What if I manufactured it glimpse like a treasure chest?”

Effectively, here we are. This treasure chest is very light (I can elevate it quickly and right now, I am in flareup manner), and as solid as a brick. The handles are garage doorway carry handles (we discussed strength/ease and comfort with an individual who builds garage doors), the hinges are not as ornamental as he preferred (those people have been far too large to suit on the box). The latch was pure luck (we noticed it as we ended up strolling away from the hinge part at Residence Depot). All the components is from The Home Depot and not a craft store, so it is stable and as effectively as decorative.
