The Northwest Faculty of Wooden Boatbuilding Contemporary Boatbuilding class created the very first boat in 2009. Russell Brown served as the build’s teacher.
The boat is a sew and glue package, CAD/CAM lower by Turnpoint Design and style of Port Townsend WA. Wave joints make for speedy scarfing.
The Northwest University of Picket Boatbuilding is found in Port Hadlock WA and is a personal, accredited non-earnings vocational school.
Our mission is to train and maintain the fine artwork of wood boatbuilding and traditional maritime crafts. We make both equally commissioned and speculative boats for sale even though educating college students boatbuilding the abilities they want to work in the marine trades.
