This is the Joel White-developed Bangor Packet, a sliding seat rowing wherry, less than construction in Teacher Bruce Blatchley’s Contemporary (wood composite) course.
We designed the boat of a few layers of slender veneers above a basket mold. The 1st of the a few veneer levels is staying positioned about the mildew in this photograph .
The boat, with its sliding seat, weighs about 100 pounds.
