    Rowing wherry BANGOR PACKET under construction

    This is the Joel White-developed Bangor Packet, a sliding seat rowing wherry, less than construction in Teacher Bruce Blatchley’s Contemporary (wood composite) course.

    We designed the boat of a few layers of slender veneers above a basket mold. The 1st of the a few veneer levels is staying positioned about the mildew in this photograph .

    The boat, with its sliding seat, weighs about 100 pounds.

    This is the Joel White-intended Bangor Packet, a sliding seat rowing wherry, below building in Teacher Bruce Blatchley’s Present-day (wood composite) study course.

    We crafted the boat of a few layers of thin veneers more than a basket mould. You can see the initially veneer layer, built of mahogany veneers, is in put. The second, or middle layer, of marginally thicker western purple cedar, is currently being measured and used.

    The boat, with its sliding seat, weighs about 100 pounds.
