    The Grandy Boat Corporation was formerly positioned on Lake Union in Seattle, and designed quite a few hundreds of boats equally big and tiny for the duration of a lengthy tenure there from the early 1920’s to 1967.

    This is the Joel White-made Bangor Packet, a sliding seat rowing wherry, below building in Instructor Bruce Blatchley’s Modern (wooden composite) class.

    We built the boat of three levels of slim veneers more than a basket mold. The boat, with its sliding seat, weighs about 100 lbs ..

    The boat has been taken off from the mould around which it was constructed and has been turned upright so that we can end the interior and install the decks.
