    Having some activity shots

Caitlin is filming a 10K race tomorrow near Google, so I believed I’d tag together and consider some pics. Given that I’m carrying out this informally, I believed I’d exhibit you my mild kit. I’m heading to be applying my bicycle to get to many locations so I’m dropping the tripod and some of the other junk.

This is what my kit appears to be like shut. I don the Crumpler bag on my right side and across my remaining shoulder. I then strap the D70 on my remaining shoulder. The UpStrap is basically set up to be most at ease on my suitable shoulder, but it’ll nevertheless be grippy.

Of course, the very little Crumpler is strapped on to the greater crumpler making use of the belt loop. You can see what is inside of also.

NeatImage assisted significantly with the sounds, but I experienced to tone down the sharpening a great deal. I burned out the history and then employed CHLomo script to give it the influence I required. I experienced to tame it down a lot while due to the fact all the element would be shed usually.

Close to town with my new lens.

In my excitement to decide on it up (it was on sale), I absolutely missed the pallet of Nikon D50’s they had suitable future to it until finally Caitlin pointed it out.

Offered my new weblog entry, I experienced to get a photo of it.

The package is a D50, an SD card, and two lenses for $800. In contrast to any other camera, the boxes are suitable there in front of you. Quick gratification! The man on the remaining was thinking of purchasing it.

    Pleasurable with my new lens.

Caitlin and I took turns photographing each and every other as we waited for our pizza. This is me with my new kit lens just after I did some closeups of her holding the Lumix.

(The point to the proper is the 18-200mm’s lens hood.)

Very sharp for a 1/3 sescond handheld. Gotta love that impression stabilisation, even with a large angle macro.

I haven’t truly played with Aperture’s new coloration sounds reduction on Raw. I suppose it’s as crappy as Adobe Digicam Raw. NeatImage kicks ass and usually takes names.

The white balance decided on by the Lumix was extremely good, but not heat sufficient for my taste. I experienced to throttle it back again using professional contrast. I then added a small saturation-vigentting couresy of CHLomo.
