Christian Payne is going into the Camden Collective at the beginning of August, with two mates, George Mead, and Josh Plough, fellow graduates from the Countrywide School of Furnishings in High Wycombe. “Bodging Milano originally came about when artist and designer Chris Eckersley was questioned to design and style a chair for the Midlands home furnishings organization Sitting Company. The resulting chairs (termed ‘Arden’) ended up a modern-day advancement on the standard English Windsor Chair.

In 2012 William Warren instigated a challenge whereby some of the crew developed new designs for Lloyd Loom of Spalding, Gareth Neal acquired on his bicycle again to Herefordshire In Pursuit of Carbon Damaging, and the terrific Japanese chairmaker Koji Katsuragi arrived above to join our new group of designers for Bodging Milano 2. Past calendar year (2013) observed a retrospective exhibition at the Harley Gallery, total with an comprehensive catalogue containing essays by members in the venture, and a fingers-on chairmaking party for the general public : Putting the ‘H’ again into Worksop.”

Ian Rudge, co-started of 100% Design experienced kindly driven me down to acquire Guy’s photograph for my 100% Style and design photograph challenge.
Guy was a pretty early exhibitor at 100% Layout at which he later released Bendywood, a one of a kind type of timber-shaping.
