The Northwest Faculty of Picket Boatbuilding www.nwboatschool.org hosted the initial SCAMP Camp (sm) in Port Townsend WA at the Northwest Maritime Heart August 6th – 17th, 2012.
The College will give the up coming workshop at the Maritime Centre March 4th – 15th, 2013. Check the School’s web-site for aspects.
The study course was taught by New Zealand designer John Welsford, assisted by modest boat adventurer Howard Rice, and supported by shipwrights Scott Jones and Jason Bledsoe of the Maritime Middle.
New Zealand designer John Welsford created SCAMP for Tiny Craft Advisor Journal, for this reason it is name – Small Craft Advisor Journal Project – SCAMP.

John built the 11-foot 11-inch boat to be effortlessly trailerable. It has a lug rig and drinking water ballast. It can be built from plans or from the kit, minimize by Turnpoint Patterns in Port Townsend WA.
