    A commission for Xmas! This solid walnut and sycamore chess board box is built with its back again and front designed of walnut and sides created from contrasting sycamore. The hand slice lapped dovetail corner joints show the contrasting colors of the layout incredibly effectively.

    Tiny magnets maintain the box shut with enough place within to hold the tournament dimension chess parts (purchased independently) that perform on the 40mm sycamore and walnut checks.

    The inside is lined top rated and base with walnut veneer finished in really hard wax oil.

    The participating in floor is concluded to a higher shine with shellac French polish and then a ultimate layer of wax to maximise the end gloss.
