Figuring out the paneling for this wall was a minimal tough. I did the decrease aspect with a panel centered beneath the window in the beginning, but that seemed bizarre so this is what I ended up undertaking. That small little triangle is a tiny bizarre, but that is what worked out following trimming the leading of the most important triangle and then incorporating the vertical items lined up with the base component. I’ll likely go again and fill that minor gap to the correct of the window with wall joint compound considering the fact that I will need it for an additional place on the window that you cannot see here. Images demonstrate all the sins.

Took about 6 weeks from start off to end, but the upstairs area of the dollhouse addition reno is 99% entire. Just after photographing, I discovered a spot on the window that desires filling with joint compound.

I experienced a difficult time determining on how to finish this place. I showed you a bunch of unique wallpapers from my stash, but in the finish, this plain therapy gained. I applied gesso as primer for all of the cardboard paneling and trim and made use of normal Benjamin Moore primer for the strip wooden. Cracks loaded with wall joint compound and primed. Almost everything was painted with superior good quality interior Benjamin Moore latex paint (“Icicle” my leftover living home paint and go to white) and aged with creme wax mixed with Mineral chalk paint. I received a minimal carried absent, so I went back and dry brushed some locations with the latex.
