White Lodge in Ty Gwyn Avenue, Penylan, Cardiff. Acquired in 1962 by Julian Hodge of the Julian Hodge Bank. Offered recently, along with White Lodge Cottage & stables, with define planning permission for 9 detached residences to be created on it really is remarkable grounds.

“White Lodge was constructed c.1910 in Arts and Crafts fashion. Tall 2-storey longitudinal vary with major entrance to centre and a single storey in addition attic structure to the remaining conclusion, equally with steeply hipped tiled roofs. The South front is of five bays, with a tall 2-storey cross wing incorporating the garden entrance and loggia. The inside retains its original program and quite a few original characteristics, together with finely specific woodwork, an Arts and crafts openwell staircase, and arched screens and a plaster ceiling in the eating area.”
